Just to throw in another vote for including the Google Play store on the ET1 upgrade or future Android products.  I realize it's a pain to comply with Google, and also has security issues but at the end of the day end users want it.  Especially where you are trying to do a pilot with 5 units or so and do not have an MDM solution in place yet.

Another eway to get apps is to download an App backup app like (Astro) on a device that does have Google Play. This saves the APK version of the app onto the SD card. You can then take that APK file off of the SD card on that device and copy it/email it over to the ET1. Then from the ET1 navigate to the folder where you downloaded the APK using the File Browser and launch the APK. I find this the easiest way to get apps from Google Play to the ET1. Remember that ET1 is running 2.3.3 of Android, so anything that requires say (Ice Cream Sandwich) will not work on the ET1.

Why don't you put Google Play there in the first place anyway? Sure, maybe 80% of the customers (big ones) don't need it but it would be easier for the smaller customers and projects if it is there from the start without any special-restore-from-backup-from-other-device type of routine.

yes...
I need to install PlayStore, in order to access to google play, the final objective is to download and install Dolphin Browser V9, cause the web application what I need runs only over this browser, the think is, when we try to install playstore, as the same as my phone display an error, the error reference says the Tablet is not compatible.
