ES400 Serial Adaptor Cable

The attached document contains the instructions and required driver & test utility to allow the FTDI UC232R-10 RS232 cable detailed at http://www.ftdichip.com/Products/Cables/USBRS232.htm to be connected to the ES400 via a USB host adaptor. This provides a standard RS232 interface to the ES400 terminated in a DB9 DTE connector. Ian Hatton Motorola Solutions EMEA

Ian, Do we have something similar solution for MC55/MC65 as well? Regards, Roland

Roland,  Yes - there is a Motorola cable for the MC55/65 which provides a serial interface: 25-136283-01R   Cable for MC55/MC65 that allows connection to a Monarch/Paxar Serial printer to terminal  Pinout of this cable is attached for reference. Best Regards, Ian Hatton EMS EMEA
