Here's another you could try.  I have used this on CE, but I just tried it on an ES400 and it seems to work there too. [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\SDBusDriver] "Dll"=""

This is for WinCE, it should also work for WM.
; disable sd card auto mounting upon insert

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Profiles]

"AutoMount"=dword:00000000
