AP6511 reset Password

AP6511 reset Password // Expert user has replied. L Luis Rios Chiquete 3 years 5 months ago 1 2 0 Does anybody knows how to reset password for the new AP6511 running WinG 5? I don't seem to be able to find the procedure on current manuals.

Give this a try:
To restore default config for WiNG 5.0:

-         Connect serially to the RFS

-         Login credentials: reset / FactoryDefault

-         The switch will reboot

-         Login as admin / Motorola

-         The WiNG 5 platform will prompt for a new password

Got the answer from support. AP6511 has a reset button (deep hole) for these actions.
