Downgrading from Kitkat to Jellybean

Downgrading from Kitkat to Jellybean // Expert user has replied. P Paul Ronjak 3 years 4 months ago 2 4 0 We had some MC40 Kitkat devices that mistakenly had the Jellybean FullFactoryReset zip ran on them. We're getting a certificate pinning error when enrolling into our MDM and wanted to test downgrading back to Jellybean, factory resetting, then upgrading back to Kitkat to rule out any complications from the wrong factory reset. When I sideload the zip the MC40 throws the following error: "Verifying update package... Checking hardware... Stop update. check_hw() return false Installation aborted" Any ideas?

I think that for this kind of issues it's better if you contact Zebra's Support and open a case:
