Overview

Identify printer issues through alerts and alert types, along with user behavior or process issues. The default threshold for alerts is 30 minutes, but users may set this to the value they prefer.

 

Printer alerts include:

  • Cutter Jammed
  • Head Cold
  • Head Element Bad
  • Head Open
  • Head Too Hot
  • Paper Out
  • Ribbon Out
  • Supply Too Hot
  • Cold start
Printer Alerts in Action
  • Identify if printers are in error states requiring action
  • Flag environmental (cold or warm) factors that may impact print quality or efficiency
  • Receive alerts if print heads require replacement
  • Detect unexpected reboots of printers

Requirements

  • Zebra Printers are running Link-OS 4.0 or above, i.e. firmware version X.20.01Z or later
  • Zebra Printer Connector (ZPC) agent is activated on the Printers
  • Devices have been enrolled and authorized for Zebra Savanna
