Hi Team, I'm not sure how much experience you all have with using an ADP-9000 to tether a scanner to an MC9190 but my customer is looking to do this. I was able to get this working and wanted to share with you all in case you need it in the future. Equipment:
MC9190 with Datawedge
ADP9000-110R
Sinbon Cable A9110525-01
LS and DS scanners
- On LS scanners scan the default setting barcode and then whatever barcode formatting setting you need additionally
- On DS scanner first scan the default setting barcode, then scan “Do Not Check For Receive Errors” setting barcode, and lastly whatever barcode formatting setting you need additionally
- On the MC9190, configure Datawedge …

- Next put the system together, start datawedge, it should turn on the scanner and allow you to scan data into the open field
I tested the ADP9000-110R with LS3408-ER,LS3408-FZ, LS2208, and DS3508-SR … and all worked well
I also tried the ADP9000-100R and while it worked with the LS2208, LS3408-FZ, and DS3508-SR, it did not work with the LS3408-ER. I would suggest our customers not use the ADP-9000-100R but rather use the ADP9000-110R.
