Hello everyone. I'm trying to work on this project with FX9600 RFID reader.

Whenever im trying to install the ziotc library it gives me error its like it cannot find the library anywhere.
How can i know that this library doesn't exist anymore? or if there is a similar library that does the same job?
can anyone help me please?

The ZIOTC - is a component on the FX-Series readers on the Newer Firmware platform.
If your FX-Series reader is not running the up-to-date Firmware, the ZIOTC module may not show up in the Applications List on the Web Console for the Reader.
Verify that the FX-Series reader has been update dot at least V3.21.21 or higher.

FX-Series support portal for FX7500 : https://www.zebra.com/us/en/support-downloads/rfid/rfid-readers/fx7500.html
In Each portal is the Firmware support that you can consult.
Additionally if you are running - up-to-date - you may need to "Factory Reset" or "Enterprise Reset" the FX-Series reader to allow the IoT config / settings to be setup as expected.

let me ask another question. I dont need to install any library or SDK for the ZIOTC in my NodeJs to connect the reader and my server. right?

Hi Raffi,
The connection is from the Reader to your Back-End implementation ( running a NodeJS solution I am assuming ) So the documentation on GitHub illustrates the common IoT / HTTP-Post similar-type use-cases.
But once connected - the NodeJS session can then get/make requests & process events from the reader.
( Receiving Inventory - getting Heartbeats - Updating GPO status - etc )

on the other hand, after i upgraded to the latest firmware version. i still dont get the Zebra IoT Connector module.
I did Enterprise Reset as you said. it's still not showing the Zebra IoT Connector
Do you think the module is not activated thats why its not showing?
