MC75 - Why Does Left Scan Trigger Hide SIP and Right One Does Not

1.  2:52 PM 3/25 2.  3 Day 3.  MC75 4.  WM 6.1 BSP 27 5.  1850719 I have a customer who is running Datawedge 3.0 and has their application and the SIP open. They notice (and I can confirm this) that when they press the Left Scan Trigger and Center Scan Trigger the SIP hides, but the Right Scan Trigger does not. If you run just Word Mobile and show the SIP, you can see the same behavior. What is the reason for this?  Is there anything that can be done to make the Left and Center Scan Trigger operate the same as the Right and not hide the SIP?

Anyone provide any help on this?

I got from Hiro Haga that the left trigger and the center trigger go through the Keyboard Driver.  Any time the keyboard drivers send hardware keyboard input, the SIP is closed.  The right trigger goes through the GPIO, so this does not generate a hardware keyboard input and there does not hide the SIP.
