connecting usb thumbdrive to MC1000 cradle

All, I need your help on connecting USB thumbdrive cable (P/N : 25-119281-01R) to MC1000 cradle,I've tested the connection with power plugged in but MC1000 does not want to detect it. Operating system on MC1000 is WinCE 5.0, I also tested it with MC3000 cradle and the device recognized as a hard disk. Please let me know if you have any idea. Thanks. Regards, Didi

try the attached applet copy to device and run the cpl change the mode

Hi ,         MC1000 does not have USB OTG support so it will not be able to recognize the external USB drives or Card reader. Whereas MC3000 has the support for USB OTG. Thanks Saravana

There should be a "USB Config" Control Panel applet that will let you manually toggle between USB Client and USB Host modes.  When you put the MC1000 in USB Host mode, the thumbdrive should be recognized.
