Cognito Mobile UK reports following:

On some MC75x6 with T-Mobile UK simcards they are unable to retrieve the CCID of Simcard.

Other 02 UK simcards it works ok, also they see good results on MC35 with both cards.

Project CCID available where Get_CCID.exe is available for testing this.

Tested on various MC75x6 OEM 27.3

Received following Rillogs and tests done from partner :

RIL 1.1.4.9

1) FinalPartFailedTMobileSim.log

In this log they loaded the unit, made sure it connected to the network (I received a voice mail) and then ran the CCID application. It returned error 57, which I believe is unknown error.

2) RilDrv02Simwhichworked.log

In this log they switched Sims to an 02 SIM, this then worked and showed the CCID. The lines which you expected are in the log

3) WholeLogwhichincludesa2ndAttemptOnTMob.log

This log they did again used the T Mobile SIM and it once again failed.

RIL 0.1.5.8

4) MC75_CCID_RIL0158_RilDrv.log

now provider shows as T Mobile E in the today screen

ran the app twice with T Mobile Sim, rebooted and ran it again with the 02 Sim which worked fine

They have also included the picture of the t mobile SIM see MC75_CCID_SIMCARD.JPG

I tested a couple of simcards here in EMEA techsupport and never see the problem.

Please let me know if this CCID is supported and a SPR is validated.

FYI a succesfull CCID query will leave following in Rildrv.log
The RILlog should contain this:

Is there a question in there somewhere?  Remember, the forum is NOT for customer issues.

question is: Please let me know if this CCID is supported on MC75 and a SPR is validated.?
