I have a customer asking if he can use a Cisco GBIC on RFS6000. Is the CISCO GBIC card compatible with the RFS6000?

Michael, This should not be a problem and I have confirmed that engineering has tested multiple SFPs including 30-1301-01 from Cisco. The only thing that may cause a problem is if the Cisco SFP supports the new Digital Diagnostics Monitoring (DDM) specification. I don't believe we have tested any of these newer SFPs so they may or may not work. Regards, Kevin
