Case 2044411 - VC5090 - TA is asking Using SinBon headset (approved 3rd party headset; as per PRG) - 50-11300-050 Connects to audio connector pinout Pin 7 is labeled as a PTT (push-to-talk) signal from the handset. When this is activated, what reg key is activated? Need to know if a registry key is set when headset is inserted. I looked in registry on VC5090 - [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Drivers\BuiltIn\WaveDev\VOIP\Headset] Will any of these registry keys (or any other one I am not aware of ), change when headset is plugged in? There is no registry key that gets set when the connection is made.  An event is generated and based on the settings at the port the correct profile is used. Is the customer curious of the mechanism being used or is there a problem that they are looking to solve?

TA states the reason for his inquiry is "Customer wants to use the PTT signal pin 7 with TEAM Express and needs to know what to map the registry key with."   Is this possible?

Glen, Is the intent to use a physical button on a headset to trigger TEAM Express as though the push-to-talk button on the device has been depressed?
