One of our VAR partners in the US - Stratix has implemented Golf Course systems in many locations. I would suggest you might want to contact them with questions. Their Motorola TA today is Tim O'Saben.
In the days of Symbol we did do some work a long time ago with the PGA PDT2700's with temp RF networks that could be taken down once the tournement was finished this was used to help real time scoring and relaying information back to the web...there may still be some case studies around this on the older sites Regards Kath
