Hi all,
customer has difficulties to access localhost with IE 8.12. Rendering older version 7.11 which is by default on BSP27 resolves that problem, but their concern is about support for possible further issues they may come - they may be then asked to revert back the newer version.which would bring the localhost issue back. Is it something expected on IE8.12 that the localhost does not work - is it not supported by MS anymore from e.g.security reason or should there be an SPR or case with MS opened? Many thanks

Since it's reproducible. I recommend opening an SPR.
let's not worry too much about support, let's first focus on the customer's complaint. It seems to me that the customer is trying to do something on BSP35 that works correctly on BSP27. Can you reproduce the customer's symptoms? Do you also see a difference in behavior between BSP27 and BSP35?
George, I am sorry for late answer I was busy with cases. Yes I am able to reproduce it and I see the dufference.
