5) 2132625 Customer requests a way to suppress the "New modem Detected" pop-up message that displays when he connects his 25-116366-01R MC9500 DEX communication cable. I disabled the display notification on Connection Established within the Sounds and notifications settings options to no avail. Is there a registry key to achieve this?

Just a bump. Anybody possibility of a reg key fix for this?
I have opened SPR# 18782 on this issue, for the reason that the DEX cable should not be detected as a modem connection. I believe a registry hack to disable the pop-up would become problematic when connecting the 25-116367-01R MC9500 Modem Adapter Cable as this accessory DOES require setting up a new modem connection. For this customers specific usage, he will not be using the modem adapter cable, so a registry hack would be a viable fix for him. So I am asking again if anyone knows of a registry entry that disables this pop-up.
