Any feedback on the issue below? We need to reference the standards (if any) according to which our environmental and drop tests are taken. Thanks in advance.

Nikos, we use modified MIL-STD-810 standard (revision E/F/G for different units, the latest is G: http://www.everyspec.com/MIL-STD/MIL-STD+(0800+-+0899)/MIL-STD-810G_123… ). We modify it by the following: * 810 requires drop on wooden plate - we use concrete. * 810 requires drops at single temperature - we do across all working temp. range * We do tumble test (not required by 810) * We drop our units 6 times for every surface (6 surfaces) = 36 times (more strict than 810 test that requires 1 drop, imho). I also can't confirm if we stress test touch screens, overvoltage, reverse polarity voltage, vibration and flammability, but they are not required by MIL-STD-810F (ML/MW series and radios are tested against these, AFAIK) Also IP sealing is a standard and we must have a certificate from independent lab for this. Have you tried asking product manager?
