Team, Is there any backup battery on VC6096? It is not mentioned anywhere in the PRG... Also - there is a battery gauge in power setting applet - what does it show?

The VC6096 does not have a back up battery. There is a super-cap in the device which will support a graceful shutdown to preserve data when power is removed . This capicitor will not maintian functionality during temporary power loss. The battery guage will show 100% when teh device is powered. -Tom
