Team, One of my customer is using MC9009G with Remote Desktop for their warehouse solution. Terminals are on the forklifts and they are scanning pretty rarely 1 scan/min. The problem is that when the terminal goes to sleep mode it loose the network connection thus the connection to the server as well. So they have to login each time via RDP to the server. What would be the solution to have them permanently logged-in in the server? Thanks Roland

Only work around is the terminal should not go to Sleep mode. Instead, the back light can be switched off to conserve power rather than going to sleep mode.
In addition to not allowing the MC9090 to suspend you could also look to use the Forklift Cradle mounted to the forklift. This way the unit can also charge through out the day if the customer still wants the display to be on all the time or if you even have to play with the radio card to be in CAM mode. cheers, Mark
