5) Clarify Case # 2173259 customer had MC70 demo wm5.0 device and using MCL Link found that their data speed was fast.. (usb) They bought new MC70's wm6.1 devices and found that the transfer speed was increased 3 fold. after a long investigation, it was determined that the issue is the RNDIS. On their server, with the firewall, the time increased. It was validated on a server where the firewall was disabled that it worked well. the customer is now asking to return the MC70's because of this. Contributing factor is for the communication within MCL to work on the wm61 device, customer needed to disable Enable Advanced Network Functionality on the device. Customer did not need to do this with the wm5.0 device. Is there anything we can do on our side for this? as per MCL , this is not an MCL issue “Your problems with the "Enable Advanced Network Functionality" (RNDIS Mode) could be due to a firewall configuration/Blocking COM. Here is a document regarding this from Microsoft:- http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/help/synchronize/activesync... the problem is customer needs the firewall on the server in production. communication does work but is delayed when it comes to RNDIS, is there a difference wm5.0 and wm6.1? Is this solely a Microsoft issue or is there a registry alteration that can be done to overcome this issue

In addition, customer also just stated that the MC75 works excellent in the same environment. Is there any change between the MC70 and MC75 that could be causing this issue?

For Clarification when I stated " They bought new MC70's wm6.1 devices and found that the transfer speed was increased 3 fold." I mean the transfer time increased 3 x longer ..  customer states it is taking too long, wasting productivity time for the workers.
