MK500 & External USB Scanner

Hi All, Just wondering if anyone knows whether the MK500 supports an external USB scanner? I know we can force the USB host mode based on the connector type, but I'm thinking there would also need to be some driver support involved...? Thanks, Mike

I did such a trick, but you have to use additional powered hub, since the host port on the kiosk cannot provide enough juice for the scanner. The scanner will work as HID.

Seconding Arsens' experience - the team here has set this up with a powered USB hub and it works no worries.
