Team, I have three comment/questions from Rona.

1-     The Battery is too difficult to change, it is not intuitive as the result they will need to train users on how to change batteries.

2-     Is it possible to lock (screw) the Micro SD flap door so the user do not take the SD card?

3-      When the hand strap is installed it is impossible to read the serial number label located just under the strap, Is it possible to relocated the product tag?

Thank you.

1. The next version of the battery (DV2) will fix the insertion and extraction issue with the battery 2. Currently no feature to screw down the SD door.  It is possible but would require alot of changes to the design to incorporate. 3. The serial number location can be moved on the product label.

For the Health Care Folks the SD card needs to be secured.....Just a thought. HIPPA Etc.

If you’re referring to the little plastic slider marked “lock” on the side of a standard SD card, it actually does nothing at all.

The Raspberry Pi Pico does not have a built-in Micro SD flap door or a locking mechanism for the Micro SD card slot. The Micro SD card slot on the Pico is typically designed to be easily accessible for inserting and removing the SD card.
If you want to restrict physical access to the Micro SD card on a Raspberry Pi Pico, you may need to consider external solutions. For example, you could use a custom enclosure or case that has a lock or additional security features to prevent unauthorized access to the Micro SD card.
Alternatively, you could explore soldering the Micro SD card directly to the board, which would make it more difficult to remove. However, this would be a permanent modification and could potentially cause damage to the board if not done correctly.
It's important to note that modifying the hardware or using custom solutions may void warranties or have other unintended consequences, so it's recommended to proceed with caution and consider the specific requirements and risks involved.
