Steve, As this is a NOC deployment then no traffic will be tunneled to the Controller. As such we only need one VLAN and Virtual IP interface on the NX9000 which is used for management, clustering and Access Point adoption. Regards, Kevin
Stephen, As the NX9000 is targetted speficially for NOC deployments where no Extended-VLANs are deployed, you will typically only see 1 VLAN and virtual IP interface defined (management). I have never seen a NX9000 with more than one VLAN deployed. Whats the application? Regards, Kevin
Thanks Kevin, The application is a NOC based management system for about 60 schools greenfield WLAN deployments, all tied together in a fibre loop. We are comparing ADSP WLAN Management vs. NX9000 at the NOC, for the correct fit to the RFP and possible quantity of APs per school.
