Hi All,   We have a project using DS9808R to scan QRCode(more than 200 Characters),the competitor is Honeywell Xeno 1900 USB device type:HID Keyboard Emulation

after decode, our DS9808 need about 1.5 second to send data to host,Honeywell just need about 0.8 second.   Do we have any ideas to improve the speed?   Best regards, Salem Su

Hello Salem, For some reason it's not in the manual and it's not in 123Scan2. At the same time 123Scan2 says it's supported since 2010. You may try the same parameter from DS4208 manual, it's there for sure. Regards, Valery

I also came into that problem 2 yrs ago with DS6707 reading 300 characters.  What we did was to use the Simple Com port emulator driver, set the baud rate to 115200 . Enabled the serial input to be a keyboard.     Another option is to make a program to use the SNAPI driver.

It's now easier than 2 years ago - just set USB Polling Interval to 0 (it's 8 ms by default). If you use ALT Keypad emulation then you may also want to enable Fast Keypad Emulation.
