This is where if the device sits idle for X-minutes, the configured application could run, i.e. screensaver, slideshow, video, etc?

Yes . The concierge allows to configure the time out duration . It also allows to choose what do you want to do when the system time outs and sits idle . We have this concept of attract screen where you can play a video , play photos or do whatever you want with a custom app you can write.
