I have a new Motorola MC3100 Bar code scanner. I need to develop a small application using visual Studio 2008.
I am unable to see a project type called "Device Type" as per the article:

I don't know where to start. Can some one please help me with a head start ? [ I am using Windows 8 and I have installed Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional Developer Tool Kit (USA) ]

Do you have the Professional Version of Visual Studio 2008? That is required.
