Replace Datamax print engines with ZE500 print engines

We are replacing Datamax A4212 print engines with Zebra ZE500 print engines. Is there a way for the ZE500 to translate the Datamax print commands into ZPL II? Otherwise, we will need to write new code in ZPL for these print engines, at several different locations in north America.
Zebra Technical support directed me to this portal to see if someone has already accomplished this.
Please advise.

Hello Steve,

So far I can see here http://www.datamax.co.nz/pdf/dmx_prog-v11.pdf the Datamax printer language is quite differs from languages that are supported in Zebra printers. And your new Zebra ZE500 printers has no support for Datamax language. So it looks like you will need to write a new code in ZPL for these print engines.
